These two lovebirds will be married in October. We headed out to take some engagement photos and even in the heat & humidity (and, oh man, the ticks) Franki & Aaron were so sweet & smiley. I can't wait for their wedding!!

How lucky did I have to get to have the nicest bride and the most beautiful wedding party for my first wedding? I was a nervous wreck before, felt too stressed to eat or drink during, but I'm thrilled at how these photos turned out.
Linnea and Luke were married April 7 at Bella Terre in Iowa. You would never have known that the high temp was only in the 40s, because it was an absolutely gorgeous day. Here's a sampling of my favorite images!

My first blog! Well, my first published blog, anyway. I’ve started to write before and it just felt silly. Now, I’m going to buckle down and try again. So here’s a quick story of my most recent work with MJ’s Creative Designs Studio!
I was recommended by a great friend to take photos of MJ and her store. She is a small business owner and runs a fun shop in NODO. MJ’s Creative Design Studio is located in the super cool Mastercraft building (11th and Nicholas) is full of bright colors, paint splatters, good music and MJ always gives a warm welcome. She’ll help you create a cute door hanger for any occasion and any season, or better yet gather all your girlfriends for a painting party.
